Most tutoring jobs hand you a login and wish you luck. You hunt for students, build your own curriculum, and chase people for payment. At Ivy Tutoring the students, the study plan and the payouts are already handled — so the only thing you spend your hours on is the part you are actually good at, alongside a Harvard-trained team of 265+ top scorers.
Apply for any exam you scored well on. You do not need to cover all of them — most of our tutors teach one or two.

Hourly pay is agreed before your first student, with a higher rate for group sessions. You log a session recap, we handle invoicing and payouts — no chasing parents for money.

Every student arrives with a diagnostic, a study calendar and a resource stack. You teach; you don’t spend unpaid hours building curriculum from scratch.

No. Plenty of our tutors started with us. What we need is a high score on the exam you want to teach (or real expertise in the subject), and the ability to explain a hard idea to a stressed 17-year-old without making them feel stupid. If you are new to tutoring, say so on the application — we train.
That is up to you and to demand in your subjects. You tell us your weekly availability and how many students you want; we match up to it, never past it. Most tutors start with one or two students and grow from there.
Hourly, at a rate agreed before your first session, with a separate (higher) rate for group sessions. You submit a short recap after each session and payouts run on a set schedule to the payment method you give us at onboarding.
Entirely. Every session is over Zoom, so you need a computer with a working camera and a stable connection. A tablet or another way to write and annotate while you teach is a big plus, and we ask about it on the application.
ACT, SAT, PSAT and SSAT, AP exams, college admissions and college essays, the MCAT, USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK, LSAT and GRE. If you are strong in something adjacent, put it in the “other subjects” box — we do get unusual requests.
