Step 1 prep for Washington med students

Washington is home to med students at schools including the University of Washington School of Medicine (the WWAMI program) and WSU's Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine — and because our coaching is 1-on-1 over Zoom, students at every program in Washington (and Washington residents studying out of state) get matched with the right Step 1 coach for their timeline and NBME gap.

Since Step 1 went pass/fail, the goal is simple: a safe NBME predicted-pass margin before you sit. The fastest way there isn't more content review — it's a plan that targets your actual weak systems, validated by practice-exam data every week.

Frequently asked questions

What actually happens on the strategy call?

It's a focused 15-minute Zoom call with a Step 1 coach. We review your latest NBME / UWorld scores, your timeline, and what's actually not working in your prep, then put a real plan in front of you. By the end you'll know where you stand, what to fix first, and whether 1-on-1 coaching is the right move.

How much does Step 1 tutoring cost?

The Step 1 Pass Plan is one flagship program; pricing is shared on a free strategy call. It includes 20 hours of 1-on-1 tutoring (in total); live group classes 5 times per week (Monday–Friday, 90 minutes each), until you're in passing range (above 75% on an NBME practice exam); question bank guidance; a personalized study plan; AI study tools (optional); a 1-on-1 onboarding session; and check-ins every two weeks for accountability (by text). Continued group access is the guarantee — not a refund or a guaranteed exam result. The strategy call itself is 100% free with no pressure to enroll.

I'm failing my NBMEs — can you still help?

Yes — that's exactly who we work with. Many students come to us behind on NBMEs, with a test date closing in, and no clear plan. The Step 1 Pass Plan is built to help you get into passing range, with 20 hours of 1-on-1 tutoring, live group classes 5 times a week (Monday–Friday) until you're in passing range (above 75% on an NBME practice exam), and a personalized study plan.

Do you work with med students in Washington?

Yes. Coaching is 1-on-1 over Zoom, so med students anywhere in Washington — at any program, in any year — get matched with the best Step 1 coach for their situation, not just whoever is nearby. Sessions fit around your rotation and dedicated-period schedule.

Stop guessing whether you're on track. The free strategy call takes 15 minutes and you leave with a plan either way.
